A great way to stay fit is to take periodic pictures of yourself. By looking at pictures of yourself, you’ll be able to track your progress and they’ll also keep you motivated. You can also share these pictures with others to help motivate them in their fitness goals.

If you find yourself stuck behind a computer every day, make sure to get away from it at least once every hour. Do some stretching. Walk around. Do some jumping jacks or a few quick pushups. Try not to spend most of your day just sitting in one place.

Learning to dance is a great way to get more exercise into your life. Dancers are known for having some of the fittest bodies in the world and this is not by coincidence. Dancing requires incredible core strength, as well as, the stamina to get through a tough routine. Even if you will never be a professional dancer, learning to dance is a fun way to incorporate physical fitness into your free time, as well as a fun way to meet new people.

Maintain a log of the exercise you complete each day. It should keep track of everything you eat and every exercise you perform. Even keep track of the day’s weather and your feelings that day. This will allow you to get an objective view of your behavior. If you couldn’t work out for a couple days, write down why.
